Ms. Apfelbacher is a capital markets, corporate governance and stock corporation law expert. She has longstanding experience in advising issuers and underwriters on IPOs and capital increases as well as on capital markets regulatory issues. She has also advised on numerous public and private M&A transactions. Ms. Apfelbacher’s corporate governance experience is not only based on providing legal advice to boards, but also on serving on the supervisory board of an SDAX® company. From 2017-2020 she was a lecturer in the supervisory board program of the HWR Berlin. She is a member of the 2020-2021 DirectWomen Board Institute class. In 2018, Manager Magazin ranked her as one of the 100 most influential women in German business. Ms. Apfelbacher’s contributions to the “Investors for Diversity” initiative reflect solely her personal opinions.
